Presented the new Grazioli MV7
19 November 2025Grazioli MV7 Antenna: Installation and On-Air Testing
The Grazioli MV7 has arrived on the roof! The Multiband Vertical Antenna covering 7 HF/VHF bands (HF 40, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10 + VHF 6m) is the most eagerly awaited development in the European HAM scene. But how does it perform in a real installation?
In our last article, we showed you the presentation of the MV7 at the Montichiari Electronics Fair, giving you a preview of the DBFC system (patent pending) that solves the problem of 40-metre radials in reduced spaces.
Now it's time to see the antenna in action. Watch Gianluca IW7EBB's full video with a detailed UNBOXING, showing all the components of our MV7 and its roof mounting, then testing the antenna on the 7 bands and doing post-mounting SWR test analysis and on-air tests.
If you are considering a high-efficiency antenna but have space limitations, then this video is an essential resource showing you the performance of our MV7.

Conclusion:
With the introduction of the Grazioli MV7, we have overcome the performance limitations of the previous model, extending coverage to the 40 metres band. This evolution has been made possible thanks to the DBFC (Dual Band Folded Counterpoise), which allows the electrical length required for 40 metres to be integrated into the ground plane while maintaining the same dimensions as the MV6.
This is a fundamental innovation that sets a new standard for high-efficiency multiband verticals in the European amateur radio scene.
